ITAMS Advisory Services

A series of low cost, high value, governance, design and advisory activities specifically devised to help kick-start any ITAM/SAM/licence management project. Advisory Services include: business case formulation, gap analysis, service roadmap design and ‘Service-line’ design. Learn more >

ELM360 Transition Management

Outlines the key steps required to move from current working practices to a new, yet carefully planned ITAM/SAM/licence management ‘Service-line’. Key services include: implementation (data, tooling, process and resource readiness, establishment and communication of an enterprise-wide governance framework and standards with minimum codes of practice), knowledge transfer, training and project control.

ELM360 BAU Services

ITAMS’ aim is to transition clients to a collaborative Business As Usual (BAU Service) quickly and efficiently, whilst adopting a ‘Service-line’ model. BAU services delivered by ITAMS graft seamlessly into existing capabilities, taking into account the varying needs of central IT, individual business units, IT and other entities, by adopting a shared service approach.

Project Control & IT Governance

Managing IT assets and software licence projects will involve many areas of the business during day-to-day operations. The underlying requirements of the business, scope, OLAs and SLAs need careful management and communication and without strong scope management, stakeholder engagement and disciplined service management, the risk of failure would be high in any large scale licence management project or ongoing BAU service.

ITAMS uses structured engagements for licence management projects, interim and BAU services, using established templates. We deliver using a stage gated, front loading project methodology, aligning this with our clients PMO standards. In BAU scenarios, we dedicate service managers to clients to build relationships and continuity with regular service reviews and SLA monitoring.

Our project and service managers understand the core subject as well as being strong planners and communicators. They facilitate client governance and they have experience of the tasks, durations and dependencies required to deliver right first time. They understand that IT asset and licence management needs not only good tools and data deployed but alignment of purpose and clear process responsibilities across an organisation.

In large companies this is a challenge but our excellent track record in some of the world’s largest, most complex and highly regulated firms demonstrates our strength in this area.
