Troubleshooting an existing licence management service, new automation and serviceline re-design.
This programme commenced with troubleshooting an existing licence management service, working with the client and their current (general) outsourcing partner. A business case for new automation and serviceline redesign was made and accepted and a selection phase undertaken.
Once tools were selected, the implementation, integration, transition service (data and operations) and the organisation and service design facilitating the new serviceline were delivered. This reduced licence/asset operational overheads, paying for the entire project in itself over the coming few years, even before licence harvesting and maintenance related savings were realised.
Supporting technical and data services continue to be delivered for this client in BAU (Business as Usual), including licence clearing, software recognition, support, upgrade/patch, new vendor on-boarding and providing skilled resource for the operational team.
