Leading vendor independent, consulting, technology and managed services specialist IT Asset Management Solutions (ITAMS) has today announced the launch of its new Enterprise Licence Management (ELM) 360© Services for Oracle®. The services cover a wide range of needs from advice to full outsource and which can be finely-tuned to match a client’s level of Oracle maturity, internal resources, capabilities and priorities. These services have been specifically developed to help Oracle end-users wade through and tackle head-on, complex compliance challenges.

The new ELM 360 Services for Oracle complement ITAMS’ existing portfolio of services and solutions which includes ELM 360© (Enterprise Licence Management 360) and ALM 360© (Asset Lifecycle Management 360). Core to the new services for Oracle are best practice methodologies (developed by ITAMS’ consultants through working with large and diverse organisations for over a decade) and underpinned by ITAMS’ licence management engine (if required).

“ITAMS’ specialist services for Oracle provide much needed pragmatic help to end-users who have for years been grappling with the complexities of managing Oracle licences”, comments Paul Sheehan, Managing Partner, ITAMS. “The services offer clarity and a way forward for effective management and are delivered by a team of ex-Oracle specialists.

In tandem with the new ELM 360 Services for Oracle offering, ITAMS is launching a new training course on “Licensing Essentials for Oracle”. This two day course will arm those involved with the management of Oracle licences, with a good foundation on Oracle® Database technology and applications, metrics and rules. It will also provide valuable instruction on the management of Oracle licensing positions moving forward.

To promote the new ELM 360 Services for Oracle over the coming weeks, ITAMS will be present at a number of high-profile events, including the IBSMA SAM Summit, Gartner IT Financial, Procurement & Asset Management Summit (with partner Aspera); and the Corporate IT Forum (Auditing Master class for Oracle). ITAMS have just announced that they will be the premier sponsor for The ITAM Review’s Oracle Seminar (in conjunction with the Campaign for Clear Licensing) on 21st November in London.
